DESCRIPTION

A waterproof and moisture-resistant polypropylene uncoupling membrane designed to minimize differential movement between ceramic tiles and subfloor materials. The spaces between the raised studs are specifically designed to accommodate a heating cable.

CERTIFIED, the membrane has passed the Robinson C627 performance test, confirming its suitability for use in both residential and commercial heating systems. It also meets the anti-fracture standard requirements based on the Tile Council of North America (TCNA) testing (ASTM 118.12).

DIMENSIONS:

Sheet size: 10 sq. ft., 37.25 in x 38.63 in (0.94 m x 1 m)

FEATURES:

  • Waterproof and moisture-resistant
  • Moisture management
  • 10 sq. ft. sheet
  • Certified
  • Increases floor height by 1/4 in (5 mm)

APPROVED FLOOR COVERINGS:

  • Ceramic
  • Stone
  • Laminate wood*
  • Engineered wood*
  • Vinyl flooring*

* A self-leveling compound or polymer-modified thin-set mortar must be applied over the membrane up to a thickness of 3/8 in (9.5 mm). While these materials are compatible, it’s important to note that they are not the most recommended to optimize heat transmission in radiant floor heating systems.

⚠️ Note: Some flooring types such as laminates, engineered wood, or vinyls may be incompatible with heating systems—especially if sourced from other suppliers. Always verify the thermal compatibility of the chosen floor covering with the membrane prior to installation.
